Hatred Rules the United States
As if it weren't bad enough that California has gone completely loco and decided that legislated hatred is just fine and dandy with them, now we have a resurgence of the religious wingnuts out there murdering people.
Don't you just love it when someone who pontificates about how precious life is takes a life?
Amazing.
There are many things that aren't right for me, things in which I don't believe, products I choose not to purchase, places I choose not to go, entertainers I whose work I choose not to support, but it is not up to me to deny anyone else in this country any of these people or things as an option.
You don't like something? Don't support it. But don't for one second believe yourself to be so *very* important that you have the right to step into anyone else's personal affairs and dictate their lives to them.
Doesn't it strike anyone else as odd that these so-called religious protectors of human life kill in the name of God? Or that they spew hatred and intolerance?
Didn't the Big JC tell us that we should love our neighbor as ourselves? Didn't he tell us not to judge, lest we be judged? That only those of us who are without sin had the right to cast stones at those we believed to be sinners?
What about Moses passing on the memo to us from the REALLY Big Guy up there that read: Thous shalt not kill?
If the "pro-life" types want to save babies, then they should all line up to adopt all the children in orphanages who haven't been adopted. They should be scrambling to pay for the pre-natal care of the women whose right to choose they want to deny, and ensure that the child is placed in a loving home. Let Pat Robertson adopt a couple dozen kids. He has the means to do so.
If the "righteous" don't want to be part of any other solution than to deny me the right to rule my reproductive system and murder the people who have made it their life's work to preserve a woman's right to choose from *ALL* her options, then I hate to tell them...they're all going to hell.
