Why I owe my thanks to Clint

We all hear tales of fated meetings and destined partings,
of tears shed and broken hearts bleeding...
but they fail to see what goes on in between those two events...
which are, really, sweet nothings.

Am I late? Everywhere I look it's HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAZU-CHAN! Not that I'm complaining. Love overflows. :) And it should.

See? Even he overflows with such love.

It's thanks to Clint Eastwood that I got to know Nino, which led to Arashi...and so on. See, I went through a phase. The - shall we call it - military history phase? That for a long time I was reading books by the likes of Mark Bowden, watching film and TV adaptations that had relations to the world wars and the lives (and deaths) of those sent on the frontlines. So I heard Flags of our Fathers was being made. Then there was an accompanying film, initially called RED SUN, BLACK SAND (which we later knew and loved as Letters from Iwo Jima) and that it starred Japanese stars. Curiosity was piqued, and so it happened.

He's an amazing actor. How many times had that been said of him before? And I like his wit, his smartass ways, always with a ready and quick comeback to anything. Genius. Sheer genius. Very clever.

I hope to see more of him as an actor, in roles that truly display his prowess. And I like his skin. *sniff*

It's Oh-chan's turn to be surprised that he was picked by the guest (Edo Harumi) as her favorite. Lolz. And Kazu just had to stake his claim. Who wouldn't?

I...I think this was supposed to be a slicing duel between Oh-chan and Jun. But our dear Leader spaced out again in the face of the Bambino's skills with the knife and just...did nothing.

Birthday boy's looking particularly hot this ep. No wonder Edo-san wanted him to feed her too!

This is how Jun-kun is as a son.
"Mom, I want to eat a big one...."
"Okay, Jun-chan." (so cute how Edo-san indulged him.)
Of course Sho-kun had to be the petulant brother and do the same. :D

Aiba. Oh Aiba. Even cherries aren't spared.

The couple for the moment. (Sorry, Birthday Boy, but these two are charming the socks off me....)

Did I say how much love Sho's getting from his brothers and grandpa?

I'm glad he's all better now. :D

I may as well commit suicide now cause....

[TEGOMASSU] Ai Ai Gasa Performance at Shin Domoto Kyoudai show.

My first attempt at karaoke...so it had to be short. Shabby, real shabby. This early, I apologize. My very first attempt, really. So nothing special, too simple to the point of boring... But the song itself....I love it. I love, love it.

When it comes to harmonies, these two have definitely become better. I like Tegoshi's voice (*hoping for an Ohno-Tego collab, but that seems impossible) and when Massu sings along, they blend really really well. And they perform together, as in TOGETHER, taking their cues from each other. This is synergy, peoples.

I want Massu for my little brother. Like, really bad. Sweet-faced, innocent-but-at-the-same-time-impish smile, great teeth, can pull off baggy (shorter) pants (yay for Nino and Ohno going that route....!), naughty sense of humor, and when he speaks, boy...deep voice. lolz.

As I said, don't flame me for my first attempt. Just...enjoy the song. *chuckles* Forget all else.
