saboteurs!
The good news is that I haven't been having prodromal labor like last time, and I'm further along than I was this time last time. The bad news is that I'm paranoid about going into labor at all, because three times, I've been on the verge of real labor, and then SOMETHING happens and I get scared out of it.
The last and worst time, I was sitting on the couch, and despite a super stressful situation (my mother was attempting to have a business call, and my husband was trying to do chores, and my toddler was clamoring for attention) I had two real contractions. Just as I finished the second, and I was thinking "Awesome, this is it!", my dear, beloved, darling, angel daughter snuck up behind me and POURED A CUP OF COLD WATER DOWN MY BACK AND PANTS WTF NO SERIOUSLY WTF.
Soooooo that was the end of THOSE contractions. Seriously, this is why dogs and cats hide in the closet and under the basement stairs when they want to give birth.
I'm actually really glad I'm having a hospital birth now because I want to get out of here, lol.
Tomorrow is the due date. I want this kid out ASAP. I thought I was going to be more chill about it this time around but it's pretty much the same. I'm done being pregnant.
