Christmas lists 2012

Oct 22, 2012 23:06

I've gotten the first query about Christmas presents so I'm making my annual Christmas wish list blog post. Again, it's all going beneath a cut, scroll past it if it offends your vision.

None of this is in any particular order.

For me:
1. Salad spinner
2. Mandolin (the cutting tool, not the instrument. I don't know what I'd do with the instrument.)
3. 10" cast iron fry pan
4. Wallet with built-in change pocket (I have one, but it's almost ten years old and wearing out)
5. Silk and cotton scarves
6. Maternity tank tops (those things are amazing! AMAZING!)
7. Long sleeve tops, especially cowl neck or turtleneck, size L or US size 10--must be long (I'm tall!)
8. Peasant skirt, free size or size L (I've killed most of my peasant skirts, boo)
9. In This House of Brede by Rumer Godden
10. Pajama sets, size L. Especially flannel. I love flannel.

For Pippa:
1. Socks, size 2-3 years
2. Skirts/casual dresses, size 2T (she has sooo many leggings and tights, I need more stuff to pair them with)
3. Bath books
4. Wooden puzzles
5. Little girl's chapel veil
6. Dressy little girl's hat (go for the 2-4 year sizes at this point)
7. 3T clothing in general, if you want to go for next size up
8. Balls
9. Mittens (ideally the kind that have the string that goes through the coat)
10. Cloth toys, like cloth dolls, or cloth pretend food
11. Scratch and sniff board books (she has one that we got as a prize and LOVES it)
