Alan Johnston at DCU
BBC journalist Alan Johnston gave an interesting talk at DCU (Dublin City University) tonight. He was kidnapped by a Palestinian militant group in Gaza in 2007, and gave an account of his experience, as well as what it was like working in Afghanistan in a previous posting, around the time the Taliban came to power. Talk was hosted by the DCU Amnesty International group, and the DCU Journalism Society.
