I CAN NOT EVEN BELIEVE THIS
Okay, today I went outside and walked around in the sun for the first time in... I dunno, a really long time. All in all, I'd say I was walking on sunshine (and didn't it feel good!) for a grand total of something like a couple hours. It was pretty nice out, so I wore a t-shirt. Didn't even think about it.
Then about ten minutes ago, the sun long since set, my forearms started feeling kind of weird. Sort of tight, itchy. Easily solved, I figured; without even bothering to look, I scratched one all the way down.
HOLY MOTHER OF OW, THE PAIN.
Finally my attention was caught and, sure enough, the upper sides of my forearms and the backs of my freaking hands-- to the knuckles-- are red. First time I've been in the sun in more time than is probably strictly healthy and I got sunburn.
This is a bad time to no longer have an aloe plant, you guys. No joke.
*has since sprayed arms with something or other to stop the pain*
