I spent most of today just relaxing again. I'm not really fatigued anymore but yesterday borked my sleep schedule even beyond the usual and so I've felt a little off all day. Tomorrow will be a joy, I'm sure, lol.
Aside from lazing about, I did also try another batch of marshmallows. Which came out exactly the same as yesterday's batch. I realized that I misinterpreted what the problem was with the mixer attachments I was using only after I was already in the midst of making the same mistake. Alas. As I said, though, they're still good. I just really want a batch to come out properly fluffy! As poor luck would have it, I don't have enough corn syrup for another go. I considered trying a different recipe but I really wanna get this one down first.
Something I did succeed in doing today was finally catching up on Transformers comics! I actually wasn't as far behind as I thought, thanks to IDW's notorious and ongoing delays. Bad scheduling really can be good for something! Anyhow, the flagship title and its current side story continue to bring me joy but I'm not really clicking with the Beast Wars reboot the way I'd hoped. While I like a lot of what it's doing, some of the character reinterpretations just leave me cold. It doesn't help that it's such a small cast, so small changes in characterization can have a disproportionate effect on the overall dynamic. I'm still enjoying reading the title, I'm just... not sure yet if I like it, if that makes sense.
