well crap. that was a bit of a hiatus, wasn't it?
sorry about that!
nothing too crazy has actually been going on, just a steady kind of rolling along... in which weeks disappear out from under me. -_-'
am sitting in the grad lab right now, not doing a heck of a lot. did i mention i have a summer scholarship position? that's right, they're even paying me to not do much. (no, really. i got told by my supervisor that i would run out of things to do if i kept going the way i was. so now i'm slacking off. :D)
um. new house! is wonderful. new flatmate, also, is wonderful. it's amazing to live with a human being again! he cleans, and talks, and is generally awesome. yay!
um. yay!
ugh. i really need to get back into the swing of posting.
oh! i have Lego Batman! i adore it. i'm pretty terrible at most games, so i like games where i can actually figure out what to do... lol. i love my DS for that! XD
also, i presented my Honours work in a short (20 min) seminar on thursday, in a mini-conference for our school (so anth/soci/gender/rels people), and everyone seems to have really enjoyed it! i had so much fun. i think i'm hooked to this academic thing, as if that wasn't already pretty obvious! :)
okay. i'm going to go do some token work for the day.
