well, hello there.
apparantly it's bee 4 weeks since i last updated. this is due to one big reason:
THESISMANIA.
yeah, i had the deadline for the draft of my thesis last week, so i went a bit crazy there for a while. i should still be working on it, but what i really want to do right now is go home - sadly it's raining right now so instead i'm procrastinating on the internet until it dies out enough for me to make a run for it.
but yeah, big things have been happening, though not so much happening as "they will hopefully happen soon when they take pity on me and i can stop waiting to har about them".
these include, but are not limited to:
summer scholarship acceptance.
Master's scholarship acceptance.
finishing my goddamned thesis.
and thankfully this one can be crossed off the list as of this morning - we have a flat! :) it's gorgeous and i can't wait to show you photos, but we don't take possession of the place til the 16th of Oct. actually, we wanted it for the end of oct, but we had to take it earlier to secure it, so there are going to be a couple of weeks of not eating in there while i'm trying to pay 2.5 rents. :/
but, the house is perfect, and has a log burner and a big lounge and pretty bay windows and stained glass (!!!) windows and a bird feeder and room for plants and oh i'm giddy. and it's only 5 min from out current place, so won't much increase our walk to uni. so yeah. i'm a happy girly.
ooooh sounds like the rain has paused, i'm going to make a run for home so i can clean up for knitting tonight!
