i'm only happy when it's complicated
holy crap onna stick i'm tired. the clock reads 11pm, but as it's daylight savings i guess it's really 10pm... still tired though. ugh.
another week, another mild panic about my lack of progress on research etc. got my book review in well before time, hooray for me, and have more articles for my lit review - hve realized i'm nearly at the 20-source mark already.
saw dad this afternoon. :) he's in town for Flynn's christening tomorrow and my grad next week.
oh god i can't wait for grad to be over now, it just feels like so much time i should be working... but at least i get to see dad. :)
went to chemistry do last night, twas el muchos fun, drank new Speights summer beer - apricot flavoured! and only $6 for a six pack! was amazing in both respects! highly recommend it. (was on special at Liquorking)
have realized that for grad ball i am makeup-deficient, and it's now pretty much too late for me to do anything about it. :/ might pick up some lipstick if i can convince myself to part with money for it... i mean, i don't really wear lippy, like, ever. but grad ball! also wish i had some kind of face powder as i turn out red in photos. bah.
pin curl clips arrived today! need to get my hair trimmed before i try them, my split ends are rampant and make the ends of my hair tangle. ugh. hopefully monday...
bought chris a shirt and TWO ties today. yes two, it was 2 for $50 at Hallensteins, so got one red for the grad ball and one blue for Laura's wedding. (so we match XD)
crap, that reminds me, must poke girl making my cincher. hmm.
oh well, i think it's bed time for me. am very much looking forward to that extra hour of sleep though!
