you know you've been reading too much internet theory when...
okay, i'm being contemplative.
you know how a lot of us (especially me, i admit) will post that we "haven't been up to much" or "haven't done anything interesting lately"? well, when i say, "i haven't done anything today" what i *really* mean is i got up late, did some washing, had lunch with a friend, handed in an essay, collected the key for my grad room, printed off two articles for my research, updated LJ, ran home so i could get the washing in, read through three articles, did the dishes, folded the washing, and then updated LJ again.
and that's not even *counting* how many times i checked facebook or my emails. (twice, for those interested. XD)
and on top of that, my "nothing" plans for the evening include cooking dinner, doing some knitting, and probably doing more research. is that nothing?
so, out of curiosity, what was *your* "nothing interesting" today? i don't care if it was just staring at the wall picking your nose, i want to know what we all consider the most *uninteresting* aspects of our daily grind.
