up from $12.50/hr to $13. not rich, but a fucklot more than i've ever gotten anywhere else. i think it made an especially good impact when i walked in to work this morning lugging a big plastic file box full of returns for magazines i did at home last night. XD not that he hadn't already decided to give it to me. heh. and should be backdated to the 6th of Dec! woo! which means my just-before-xmas pay is going to be sweeeeeeet. :P
BUT i also got a bonus! we were told we weren't getting bonuses this year, just a fully subsidised xmas dinner, which was pretty damn nice anyway, but we had a Bartercard night at work and did like $30000 in under 3 hours. X'D so we all got bartercard bonuses based on our pay from the last three or four months, to come out as a 3.5% bonus, in bartercard giftcard-form. so i have $226 on bartercard. :D not quite as good as real money, but as can be redeemed at Double Happy, the Bog, and KB's bakery, i'm set for cocktails and pies for the next couple of months. X'D
other than that... my back hurts.
chris has spent all day at his grandma's funeral in Ashburton. hopefully he hasn't melted in the heat and will be home soon.
also don't think i'm going to make it to either of the things i'm meant to go to tonight. did i mention my back hurts? also, i have work at 8:30am tomorrow. ugh.
shit. i have to go make fudge for my bro's family for xmas, i'm visiting on saturday. crapballs. i just can't really be bothered with anything right now. hmf.
i'mma gonna g ad make some tea. tea helps everything, right?
