sorry, i'm in a really bad mood. THIS IS MY DAY OFF. IT SHOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO BE IN A BAD MOOD. grrr.
i think it's a combination of small things that are pissing me off.
for one, it's muggy. i *hate* muggy. muggy means headache, means an inability to drink enough hot tea to stave off headache, and just a general "ew" feeling.
secondly, i'm mostly broke. i have to go grocery shopping tonight, and that will be... pretty much all my money gone. i miss studylink during the holidays. :( having to work like a crazy person just to get the same money i get during the year for being a bum? makes me sad. especially when i seem to be only getting just enough hours (around 30) a fortnight to keep at that same level. which doesn't bode well for the saving, the buying of xmas presents, or the enjoying myself at all. i would have more money left, but i made the mistake of indulging in going out for dinner one night, and have had to pay a few things that i've been putting off... so yeah. and i still have people to pay back for things (chris, louisa) and to re-send Shara's parcel (i'm sorry!!! if i had the money it would be gone already xoxox), but won't have money for anything else til next wednesday. most of which will have to be last-minute xmas shopping. :/
oh, and thirdly, and this REALLY pisses me off: me and chris ordered Rock Band for our xmas present to each other. i know, cool! we got the game fine, but we had to order the instruments from somewhere else, as our first choice retailer was sold out. now, we sorted it to get them delivered, due to us being sans-cars. today, the instruments arrived. except, y'know, for the fact that they sent us the Guitar Hero World Tour pack instead of Rock Band. >.<' and of course, i signed for it at 9 this morning, after being woken up by the couriers, and without my glasses - so i didn't notice until i went to open it this afternoon. ARGH. so hopefully we'll be able to get them replaced quickly, because if we have to wait until after xmas to get the instruments will RIP SOMEONES HEAD OFF. we already had to wait 5 days fo te instruments this time, and they didn't even send us the right stuff. GRR. i also hope me signing for it when it was delivered won't make it harder to get the proper stuff. it's definately *not* what we ordered, so it shouldn't be a problem, but i'm just kicking myself for not taking a second look at it when it was delivered. >.<' GRRRRR.
other than that, my week had been boring and busy with work. and this is my first day off since last tuesday. and i have to go get ready to go to the physio now so he can wiggle my ankle around.
