Wasn’t tagged but I thought I would go for it any way.
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5.Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).
6. Tag five people.
“Maybe,” Huge says, “they’re inside you’re tower of meat.”
This is what we have been reduced too. Hugh blows the yucca pollen off his blackened shrimp while I push back the sleeves of my borrowed sport coat and search the meat tower for my promised potatoes.
“There they are, right there.” Hugh uses his fork to point out what could easily be mistaken for five cavity-riddled molars.
Work is work. It’s going pretty well actually. Best Buy is different than what I’ve done before. But at the same time it’s exactly the same. The only problem I’m having is that I HATE standing in one place. I like being able to move. But we all have to do what we have to do. I know this. And it’s a job. That’s all that matters right now. Hopefully I’ll be kept after the holiday season. Time will only tell on that one though.
Sam liked her scarf that I made. I was so worried about it. But she liked it. So happy about that. And it passes the “Does this look homemade?” test. And that makes me even happier. I was really proud of it.
On another note I drove all over town today looking for a two inch plastic ring and still couldn’t find one. I finally had to result to using shower curtain rings. They are half an inch too big. But it’s the closest I can get. It’s just going to have to work. I really need to get started on the pot holders for my great aunts… Hopefully they won’t take too much time. ~crosses fingers~
