Thank goodness!

I got a call from my mortgage broker today. He said there would be no problem getting a loan as long as the real estate lawyer drafts an easement which 1) allows unlimited use of the shared driveway for all current and future owners, and 2) outlines the who is accountable for what maintenance costs for the driveway. Which is what I would have expected, anyway. I just don't know how these things are done.

Yay! I am quite relieved. Now we just have to wait to see what the county government requires. That could take time, but at least everything's okay on my end.

Now I can go back to worrying about paint colors...
