For the science fiction lovers out there, I highly recommend giving the Hugo nominated
Exhalation, by Ted Chiang, a listen. A "clockpunk" meditation on entropy, and the heat- (or pressure-, in this case) death of the universe. This is a real sf story, with real science. This is one of the best sf stories I've heard on
Escape Pod to date. It's about 45 minutes long.
Every year at this time
Escape Pod gives us their "Hugo run," when they read stories that have been nominated for the Hugo award for that year. So if you like sf and fantasy short stories, you may be interested in checking out last week's EP, as well as those over the next few weeks.
