Ki, my youngest cat, seemed pretty lathargic Tuesday. He was just laying around, wasn't interested in going outside, and not very interested in food. His nose felt warm and dry. Just to be on the safe side, I decided to take him to the vet. I was able to get a late afternoon appointment yesterday so I could go after work.
He was back to acting normal by the time I got home from work, but I decided to take him in anyway. They took bloodwork, which did indeed come back normal. So whatever he had must have been of the 24-hour variety.
I hope so, because Patches may have it now; she was uninterested in eating when I fed her breakfast this morning (Patches lives for food). Though
rfunk tells me she seemed hungry later on in the morning.
Since I don't know her exact birthday, I count Patches' age by the arrival of spring. She is now 18 years old.
