Snow!
We got goodness knows how much snow, sleet, and freezing rain last night and today. Yesterday they were predicting up to 10 inches of total accumulation. Knowing it was coming yesterday, I went ahead and scheduled vacation for today. I'm at home warm and cozy, but a little bit ago I braved the cold to snap a few pics.
Ice-covered branches creak in a slight breeze, and my feet crunch as they break through the layer of ice buried beneath the snow.
I'm actually surprised we still have power, as being rural, we often lose power during ice or snow storms. Best post this before the power does go out!
