Snow day
We get four personal days a year that we can use to call off work without scheduling in advance. I bank them to use for bad winter weather. When the traffic report on the radio said there were already two accidents by 6am, I decided to take one today. I probably could have driven in to work after rush hour and been just fine, but by that time I really didn’t want to go to work anyway.
So I’m home today. The chiro stuff intruded into my normal schedule in a bit of a whirlwind, and a day off is welcome. I’m catching up on some emails and taking it easy. I watched “Our Mrs. Reynolds” over lunch. I’d forgotten how good that Firefly episode is. I’ll take a long meditation soon, and later I’ll cook chili for dinner.
