Weekend fun
The rest of my weekend was fun, too. Highlights include:
- Sleeping in Saturday morning.
- Hitting a local garden center for more perennials for my shade garden, scoring a sale on some (post-bloom) plants.
- Getting 2/3 of the plants in the ground. I'll get the rest in this week. (Yes, I will post pictures. :)
- Hanging out at a local friend's house Saturday evening. (She only lives 10 minutes away from me!)
- The huuuge bonfire at her house. It was so big it singed leaves on a couple of trees and threatened to catch them on fire. Yikes! Luckily, the fire burned down before any real damage was done.
- Catching up on laundry.
- Discovering that the water heater keeps tripping its breaker, and therefore we have limited hot water.
Yeah, so that last. There's some sort of electrical problem with the water heater. It will work for a short time, just long enough for a warm (but not hot) shower. Then it trips the breaker and turns off. You have to flip the breaker back on to get more hot water. Not an ideal situation, obviously. A service professional will have to be called. Poopy.
Except for that last, which was only discovered when rfunk tried to take a shower yesterday evening, it was a fun and productive weekend.
