I only got to watch the last half of last night's debate. I found it interesting. I thought Kerry did well, and Bush sounded like he was trying really hard not to say anything stupid. My only criticism of Kerry is that when Bush was criticizing him for not having any "core belief", Kerry didn't directly answer the accusation. He used the word "believe" in his closing statements, but not in specifically answering Bush. He would have sounded stronger if he had simply said, "my core belief is ____", and then gone on to make his point about Bush being wrong. But overall I thought Kerry sounded good.
