While I'm thinking about it: Yahoo! is closing down all Geocities free websites, so Zell and I have been considering getting a hosting package. Does anyone have a suggestion as to a domain registry/hosting service? Our basic criteria are: 1) reasonable price, as in under $6/month, 2) at least one email address for us to use, and 3) a decent amount ( Read more... )

Green's suggestion looks sparkly. And it's a better deal. We still have to think about it and do some other work first, of course, but I know we'll come to agree on something.

Also, Alcione was insane. The lady was like Focker II. She just wouldn't die. You should show me this Wall of Heirs sometime, too. I keep on forgetting to ask you about it. As for the heir-choosing, ya never know! Maybe I'll like Vulcan, but maybe I won't! THE SUSPENSE. IT'S. RIVETING. And should I ask how they go about deciding that on a BBS? The quote is by Thomas Wolfe. All I really know about him is that he was a writer, and I believe the movie "This Boy's Life" is about him. But I could be wrong; I read that in a Leonardo DiCaprio biography when I was, like, nine or ten years old. ^^6

I hope you vote Vulcan. "Vote for Vulcan!" It's a perfect campaign slogan, one I should probably utilize when I post about him on the BBS! Okay, not really. I don't want the beauty contest that is inherent in BBS legacy heir polls. It's exactly as you described it: a bunch of dumb thirteen-year-olds dictating your heir based on his/her looks.

I'll show you the Wall of Heirs, as well as the far-reaching family tree. That thing is a monster, but at least - for the most part - it makes sense.
