...though tbh, I don't pack them in my work bag as a rule.
Which is a pity, as I bagged a pair of tickets this morning for
evangeline2670 and I to see My Chemical Romance at the O2 arena tonight in a kinda spur of the moment kinda thing *beams* I'll be the oldest and happiest emo ever XD
What actually happened is one of my office colleagues is on the TicketMaster email list, got an update and forwarded it onto me as Celine Dion *spit* is playing soon (she was joking ^_^). But I saw that they'd released some extra MCR tickets for tonight, so quickly got on the mobile to Evie and yes, she could bunk off school early enough to make it, so I booked the tickets.
So that'll make up for missing the talented Mr Way[1] at the signing yesterday.
And I killed my headphones this morning... so have had to go buy some new ones. I'd have liked to buy more of the ones I just killed as they were comfy and had really good sound. But why is it that the headphones I really, really like only have a production life of 2 nanoseconds *grumbles* So I bought some of those 'reet in yer lug 'ole' types as they were about the only decent ones available. We shall see (or rather... we shall hear).
And it's looking like a busy weekend ahead...
one of Evie's workmates (James... the one with the interest in strap-ons *grin* - we should so buy him one as a present!) is having a birthday soiree somewhere in Reading tomorrow evening.
Saturday I'm off to Watford to play toy trains.
Sunday morning I'm meeting
gromash at the Rivermead for Warfare2007,
http://www.readingwargames.co.uk/warfare.asp one of the big local Wargame/RPG shows, then Evie and I are off to Oxford to see the Oysterband in the evening.
Then we have Mono next Tuesday, followed by the first pair of Army dates for us this tour back end of next week. *bounces*
[1] listened to any MCR yet?? You should, seriously *nodnods* :D
