Samurai

Sod's Law is a brilliant thing. Since my sound card went boom right before I was going to watch the live transmission of SenBasa, I pretty much missed the entire first half and managed to understand very little of the second half. So I went to Milly's, hoping to watch the uploaded raw version there. Well, whaddya think? Her PC broke down. Completely. TODAY! I swear I have nothing to do with that! Phyl was so crabbly because of not being able to chat away with her ICQ friends that I was compelled to take her places.
Overall, from what I gathered, the episode was good. It ended in a pretty shocking cliffie, which is always a good point in my book.
I think I need a samurai-related icon, but I can't find anything attention-worthy. As much as I like samurai, the Japanese exploit the theme way too much. That's the main thing I love about Samurai Executioner: it doesn't give off that mainstream aura.
I found this interesting site: http://www.sengoku.ru/index.htm It's in Russian, but it has an interesting collection of info, particularly in the library section. Some familiar names are also there, like Takeda or Toyotomi. By the way, there's an Endou Shusaku novel, too. Erin, I thought you might be interested.

fan rant, i am one, kono kojuurou, idioteque
