No school today because the temperature was insane. I got up at 5:40 a.m. to make sure school was canceled and threw the Tyson Beef Stew kit into the crock pot and then returned to my nice warm bed until 9:45 a.m. Then after a shower, I continued working on the Mother of the Century Award by going to pick up three of their friends. 2 + 3 = 5 Count them 5 kids playing the Wii, DS, and Carcassone. Quiet was not part of the day.
While they did that, I:
- Listed new items on eBay.
- Sold one item to one of their friends.
- Applied for a job with the Bargainist
- Scanned in 3 to 4 boxes of comics including about 100 I had to rescan after closing a window before saving.
- Ordered the missing pieces for my Dark Tower game. wooz71 can't play.
- Fixed the Wii remotes after calling zman923 and thecoddess.
- Got a big headache.
- Learn never to allow 4 player Wii Tennis again. My family room is not big enough.
- It is nice that DC Comics puts identifies which week in the Countdown a comic belongs, but could they do it on the countdown comics as well? When sorting you only look at the bar code square not the title.
- New high issue price: $30 for Y the Last Man #1
- Why are Marvel What If? comics so lame in comparison to DC's Elseworlds?
- Kitty Pride and Rachel Grey used to be best friends but I think of one conversation between them since they both returned to the team.
- I find it ironic that the bar codes for Tank Girl didn't work.
- Green Lantern: Rebirth #1 might be worth $10, but it is still a bogus storyline.
