A quick "I'm alive" message for everyone. I'm alive. Melissa is alive. Her family is alright and her home didn't suffer too much damage. her apartment came out untouched. The house Vee, Andrew, and I share flooded eighteen inches, we had a couple of trees fall on the house (which scares the crap out of you when you're in the room the tree hits) and our fence is completely demolished by falling trees and flooding. My family is all fine and accounted for except for Suzanne and Matt. Their home in longbeach is completely destroyed, but I here they fled to Wiggans, so they should be alright. Still haven't heard from them. My parents' house lost some shingling, some trees, and the fence, but on the whole they are good too. We all got off very lucky. One house I saw had eight trees smash through it. Terrible stuff. Anyway, I thought I'd let you know we're ok. Full story to follow later. Right now, I don't have time to type it all up.
