It’s going to be an interesting week

The main reason I despise Walmart, at the moment, is because they apparently don’t feel the need to make sure that the entrances to their parking lots are salted or sanded so that customers don’t slide over the median whilst attempting to patronize one of their stores.

That’s the case with at least one of their stores here in Green Bay. Sliding onto the median really messed up the front end of my car Friday night. This is par for the course because once again I am one payment away from paying off my loan. What makes it worse is I may have to cancel a Monday doctor’s appointment for the second week in a row because I cannot drive ten miles an hour all the way across town.

No.. no. I’ll drop my car off Monday morning and hope it can be repaired for under two hundred dollars or else scurry for enough cash to make the final payment this month and hope I will be able to take out yet another loan to pay for repairs. If I drive over 15mph the front-end wobbles and shakes so terribly that I believe a wheel may fly off and send me careening into another car.

I won’t chance that. No. Instead I’ll carefully drive it to the mechanic a few blocks away from my apartment and hope for the best. I’ll cancel the doctor’s appointment if I cannot find a ride by tomorrow afternoon. I’ll accept my life as it is and pretend I’m grateful that things aren’t worse (things can ALWAYS be worse). If my bicycle seat wasn’t ripped-off last October I probably could have used my bike to peddle to my appointment but c'est la vie.

I don’t remember things being so fucked-up when I was constantly soaked in rum, but then again, if I were drenched in rum I wouldn’t have been driving last night. Rum could have prevented this entire ordeal. Odd to see it in such fashion, but it’s true. A year ago I was attending AODA classes and driving under restrictions, because I couldn’t afford an attorney and decided to accept my penance for operating a vehicle under the influence... but I already told that particular tale over a year ago.

Right now I'm considering contacting Walmart's store manager after I get an estimate for repair. Cuz god damn it, it's Walmart's fault that my fucking car slid over the median when I was only driving ten miles an hour onto a driveway that Walmart is responsible for, even if I do have shitty tires and a headache.
