WHY do I love this episode so much?

Let’s see… I think it’s the first episode in Season 1 that kinda really gives Barney some depth/layers. It’s also the episode that cements Robin (to me) as a character in her own right (it gives her some layers too).
Also, there’s something about the way she tells the chick at the bar she’s going home with Barney and when she leaves MacLaren’s with him and does that “what’s up!?” nod at the chick!?? <333
Then the way they just Bro-out for the rest of the night, is fantastic.
Meanwhile, the secondary plot is also incredibly hilarious (or is it the primary one to everybody else?).
Marshall and Lily running out of firsts, something I've always wondered about couples that have dated forever… Ted and Victoria having sex for the first time after waxing lyrical like two seriously pretentious douche-bags!? AWE.SOME.

1x22 - “Come On” (talk about WTF JUST HAPPENED! Whedonverse alums! Ted and Robin hook up, and I never thought I’d say this, but, YAY!)
1x09 - “Belly Full of Turkey” (how cool on a sitcom/sad in real life is it to spend Thanksgiving in a strip club!? And Barney in a soup kitchen!? Frigging awesome!! They just had to ruin it and his subtle character development with the community service thing didn’t they?)
1x19 - “Mary the Paralegal” (ALEXIS DENISOF!! And yes I’m sad enough to love it when a married couple don’t act married on the telly…. and the storyline was great)
HOW MUCH BETTER WOULD IT HAVE BEEN IF THEY’D BROUGHT HIM BACK FOR THE DON STORYLINE!????
