last time on as south africa turns:
--i made a bevy of 8-year-old boys (and one 8-year-old girl) fall in love with me using my wits and charm!
--all the metro train drivers in cape town and beyond went on strike, sending my work schedule and everyone else's into a tail spin!
faghmie touched my leg today. i want to say it didnt mean anything (he was reaching for his phone and touched my calf), but it lasted for at least 3 seconds. also, yesterday he offered to take me and aminah up to signal hill to get a view of the cape. when we asked if he was bringing the van so everyone could go, he reconsidered. he makes me uncomfortable.
meredith and rachel are here finally. but actually, me and meredith are going to fight. it was all good until last night slash this morning. heres what happened. rachel and meredith stay over at the boys house w/ krueger and eli, drinking and having a ball while me and aminah go to bed death early so that we can go to work death early today. meredith and rachel come home late--piss drunk, im assuming--and go to bed. sounds cool, right? wrong. our house has 3 doors that you need to unlock before you get in--a front gate, a door gate, and the door--cuz people like to come in and beg in front of your house, or even better, come in to your house and steal your shit. so lemme know if ALL 3 DOORS WERE WIDE OPEN AND UNLOCKED THIS MORNING WHEN I WOKE UP!!! my computer and camera were out in the open, and thank god none of it was stolen, no thanks to meredith! i know it was her cuz she's been doing it for the past 2 days, even when she's completely sober. where does she live that its okay that one leave the door wide open behind you? mayberry? i love her, but we're really gonna fight if she does it again. also, she'll pay for my effing computer and anything else that anyone steals. just saying.
on that note, we're getting drunk this weekend. woot!
