Flight 2
Flight 2 was short, and I slept for most of it. I am still exhausted. I slept for less than four hours last night and ran around all day with my parents. It's 8:15 here, so it's 9:15 in New Jersey, meaning I've been up a long ass time. I was up at 4:45! I want to sleep, but I also don't, cause I'm with my family. It is lonely here at home, though, without Biscuit. It's the first time I've been here since she died in October.
I got in at 10:45 and we went to breakfast. We talked a lot about my job and the situation with trying to grow both the G&E and student markets. Then we went to Wal-Mart and I seethed the whole time. We tried to look at audio systems, but they knew nothing and were completely unhelpful, which I predicted. We looked at some at Best Buy, then an a/v place in Independence, and then Circuit City and another Best Buy. In the end, I helped them pick out the rest of their home theater system, to complete what they started when they got the DLP a few years ago. I get to set it all up tomorrow or Saturday.
Jonan's flight from Milwaukee keeps getting puched back, so he won't get in now until at least 10, if not later. My mom and I are driving to Columbia to see my grandma, aunt Gail, uncle Charlie, cousins, and Kerin. It will be fun.
I just got done watching PBS's "Nature" in HD, and it was amazing. It was all about giraffes and I was in awe the whole time. I want one as a pet. But if I can't have one, I want an HD tv.
