I do not HATE soccer shorts, I just...I'm embarrassed by it because it's so ridiculous and it's just this idea I had (ie, Jared should wear soccer shorts cause it would be HOT) and then I wrote PORN about it. And then people were like "write MORE" and I was like "ACK BUT THERE'S NO THERE THERE."

Jared's not really surprised about this, after what he and Jensen have been doing for...who knows how long now, but he can't goddamn sleep. They both have an early call the next morning and he can hear Jensen downstairs, watching TV still.

He sighs heavily and buries his face in his pillow, hoping maybe he'll pass out from suffocation. Or something. But then he gets too hot and kicks his blankets off and tosses the pillow away, grunting in annoyance.

"Just wanna sleep." It's practically a whine, but no one is around to hear him. So it's okay.

The tv turns off downstairs. A few minutes later, the toilet flushes. Jensen's going to bed too.

Jared closes his eyes and attempts to sleep. Nothing happens. He opens his eyes and it's been 10 minutes. 12:23 flashes on his alarm clock, mocking him with it's stupid red glow. He has to be up in five hours and work until 10pm tomorrow

Hahahhah that's fucking awesome. I still really liked the cuddling though. I think you nailed what I always tried to do - to make them guys through it all. I loved Jensen crawling over Jared while mocking him then just settling in like it's nothing and the simple 'night, jay.' &hearts

So, in theory this is engineering student!Jared/adexec!Jensen, but it doesn't have a lot to do with either engineering or advertising.

"What kind of dress code does this thing have?" Jensen wants to know. "Should I keep this on?" He's still wearing his suit and tie from work.

"As sexy as you look in that suit, you'd be the most overdressed person there," Jared tells him. "These people are college students and they're engineers. They can barely get two matching shoes on in the morning." Jared is wearing jeans, a flannel button down, and sneakers, and given that he's slouching on the couch, eating chips and salsa and watching a rerun of Buffy on FX, he doesn't appear to be planning on changing before they leave
