Jensen laughs at Danneel holding up a metal bowl, holes dotting the thing in a decorative pattern. “What do I need with that thing?”

“I believe it’s a colander,” she points out. “And you use it to drain water from pasta, vegetables, whatever. Has your husband taught you nothing?”

“He’s taught me a few things,” Jensen replies with a smirk.

“Don’t wanna hear it,” she groans, turning away then halting with a tiny eep noise ( ... )

“Oh, I just ate,” Jared frowns as he sets his hand to his stomach.

“I’m not hungry anyway, it’s okay,” Donna insists with a smile. “I just really wanted to meet Jensen’s new husband.”

Jared gives Jensen a quick look. “Oh, that.”

She turns toward Jensen and raises an eyebrow, perfectly shaped quite like all the cynical ones Jensen lets loose. It’s scarier this way, from his mother, in this situation. “How about you two get your appetites back in time for dinner? I’d love for you both to come by us to eat ( ... )

I agree! That's really not the way a mother wants to find out about her child's new spouse. I actually admire Donna's calm here ♥

I love that they share the eyebrow thingy, it was such an adorable little touch!

He actually got off pretty lightly for not telling his mom about getting married :D

Haha I love that idea, too. I have grand ideas for how the parents are always digging into them about getting married so quickly, not living together, just all around silliness :)
