Got sent to a few websites durring my search for the stuff i wish to know...
http://www.wicca.com and
http://www.bewitchingways.com Wicca.com seems to have more of what i'm looking for, and Bewitching Ways has more of the religious side of the craft.
granted, what i want to learn may not be considered magick, but they are still closely tied to each other through subliminal and historical ties. meh. i dont know. i dont claim to know, or understand. but for one such as myself who was raised by a group of closed minded christians, who is interested in magick, learning the natural aspects is a safe(i hope) move. it's structured enough that my feeble scrambled brain can take grasp of it, but still leaves me open to learning the more abstract portion if Magick.
While i may say that I dont want to learn magick, i lie. I want to know how it works i want to be able to do it myself. but this is not exactly possible. so for now i limit myself to the "Natural Magicks" such as working with herbs and stones. Maybe later in several years, I may feel confident enough to call myself a practitioner, and continue to the supernatural magicks. but that point is as elusive as the wisdom i seek.
Last time i was on the coast, I said that i didnt want to learn magick, but rather learn about magick. and in specific what i wanted to learn was the natural magicks. thos skills that are now considdered old wives' tales. a few moments later he had mentioned that he could see me as a Herbomancer(i think that's the term he used), a Geomancer and a Technomancer. after doing research, I'm not quite sure what he meant by geomancer. the "classical" meaning for it is a "earth Mage" or someone who does magic with the earth. but on the net, all i can find are sites about Feng Shui, so i have no clue. Technomancer confuses me even more.
If anyone can help me with deffinitions to those terms, i'd appreciate it.
and if there's anyone that would be willing to help guide me untill such time as i can find a teacher for myself, youre help would be appreciated. just be warned, I have nothing. I havent even slept at "home" in at least a month. I'm roaming and drifting wherever life takes me untill i get my car fixed and get a decent job.
