It was 20 degrees today, and I was walking around with no hat and no gloves and telling other people they could take theirs off because it was so warm out. Hell yes, I'm a Minnesotan already. (I think that spurt of -40 weather might have shaken up my system enough to reset what I consider "cold"...)

Until I took this directing class, I had honestly never expected to use the phrase, "Karl Rove offering Jesus a sandwich".

Look at it. Isn't it beautiful? I am seriously having to analyze a scene in which Karl Rove interrogates Jesus on Air Force One. I'm trying to use their names as much as possible, for maximum ridiculous effect.

I got a care package from my family today, consisting of earplugs (it's noisy at night), Hot Tamales, and a two-dollar bill. ♥

So today I told my two West Coast friends that I passed in my anthro paper yesterday. They were confused, and thought I meant I had gotten a passing grade. So I asked a few more people, and only the girl from MA had ever heard of that phrase. They all said they would use "turned in" or "handed in".
