School Reforms
Greetings,
I am looking forward to our conversation on Monday night. I know that you received an earlier version of the draft executive summary of the high school redesign elements, but many of the elements have been edited since then- based on parent, staff and principal feedback.
Over the next few weeks we will be going out to speak with teachers, staff, students and parents. This will give us the best possible thinking into our redesign elements. We started with 13 elements and it has grown to 18 over the past week. We are asking stakeholders to think of the elements in three ways:
My big idea ( these are new elements not in the plan yet)
Make if better (these are elements that are in the plan but need a little tweaking)
Think about (these are suggestions or concerns about a certain element)
I am attaching the most recent draft so you may review it before our meeting on Monday.
