Its getting closer...
...10 days till MAUI, HAWAII!! I cannot wait. Its going to be amazing :-)
-Its been a good couple weeks. Research hasn't been taking up my whole life for a change. Have been doing relatively well in my classes. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel... almost done with undergrad... crazy.
-Our bball team is amazing. Won their last 9 of 10 games. Now clinched at least a tie for 2nd in the ACC :-) Last night was my last home game as a student... that was sad. But we whooped Virginia 99-54. What a way to end. (Oh, and Dook lost :-D ) Speaking of Dook, we play them for our last regular season game on Saturday... everyone pray to whatever god/gods/thing that you believe in (or just hope really hard) that we win. Words wouldn't even be able to describe my happiness.
-Taking the GRE on Saturday. I am a little scared about that. Haven't really prepared at all. I feel like theres not much I can do, though. Its almost the exact same format as the SAT. I think its just another scam to rob college students of our money. That's just my humble opinion. Pretty much I am hoping my GPA will be enough to get me in.
-I found out that I am going to be published as one of the authors in another paper for my research. Yay :-) So by the time I graduate I will be an author in 2 published scientific journal articles. Its awesome when hard work pays off.
-Its been 50 days exactly since i've seen Mike. I miss him incredibly much. Never again will I allow myself to be apart from him this long... soon we will both be on the Island and won't have to worry about that anymore... can't wait.
