Walks

While taking a walk with a friend, in the rain, I discovered two pieces of paper in my coat pocket that were documents of events from Interlochen. The first, a strip of paper reminding students to come the Thesis III and the other, none other than a signed receipt (indicating a charge) from the Melody Freeze. I was swept back into a pool of memories and ghosts that I was quite happy to see. The road these past few days has been anything but even yet I am quite happy and chipper. I once again feel like Cassiopea Rose Gypsy Orchid Lynn with a dash of Sass. Yes, I do keep to myself but that doesn't stop people from getting to know me. Later during that walk my friend and I stopped to watch the traffic pass underneath of us. On the way back, we jumped in puddles.

On another walk, while taking a pass over the interstate below, I drug my fingers along the fence that contains the air above knee level. It was kind of my threat to the world that I can be a delinquent at times.

I forgot how much control I have. Oh, and guess what?! I actually have the choice of saying no!!!! Who knew? Perhaps it will help not only me, but those who I have given more control to than intended. I think it will bring comfort to those who have grown to care for me as well. It's always the hardest to watch a friend struggle with something they can't quite see.

The sun is shining and there is a light breeze.
