I'm home!
I just got home from school today. Leaving was very sad, but not quite as sad as leaving last year, I suppose because I'm comforted by knowing that when I come back Junior year things have the potential to be just as great as they are this year.
There are definitely some aspects of sophomore year that I am more than happy to be completely done with. This was probably the worst semester I've had, but it was still a lot of fun, which I think says a lot.
My last night at school was a fun-filled typical Thursday OC night. Krys, Aloisia, Kerri, Sean, Travis, Mark and I hung out and goofed off, then everyone except Sean & I went to Touc's. It was nice to spend some time with Sean last night since that part of summer that sucks the most is not getting to see him all the time. Bah.
So, here's my positive thinking for the summer...I don't think there's any way that this could suck as much as last summer...haha.
Tonight I'm hanging out w/ J.Logue which will be fun because he's really the only person that I am still in touch with from home. I hope he and I can chill a lot this summer since it is fun + if we don't, I will have a pretty lame social life.
Okay, accomplishments of the semester:
- watching the entire first seasons of Party of Five, Nip/Tuck and 21 Jump Street on DVD
- doing well in all of my classes (I think)
- swallowing my pride and cleaning other people's bathrooms for $$ (shoutout to James, the only "client" who is also a LJ friend)
- sleeping in my own bed no more than maybe 6 times
- puking for the first time in over 5 years (is that an accomplishment?)
- passing the LAST...one step closer to being a teacher?
- scoring a summer job
there's gotta be more than that - if you can think of anything, please comment.
Anyway, to everyone who made this year absolutely amazing - thank you, and I love you!
