Going home...

So, it's Thanksgiving...can you believe it? I am excited to see my family. I can't wait to spend some quality time with my mom. I want to talk to my dad about sports and politics. I want to play with my dog for hours on end. I'm excited to eat turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, string beans, and, of course, my favorite home treat, cheddar and ( Read more... )

I think I can really relate to that. I mean, aside from the obvious "everyone drinks buy me" idea, I definitely return to the Wood expecting to return to the Wood. And when it's not like that, I feel very out of place and almost pathetic. Like I'm trying to hold on to something that just isn't there anymore? I think everyone feels like that at some point, but it makes sense that you and I would feel it hardcore because we're both emotional and nostalgic. Approaching it as meeting new people seems like it would be quite beneficial to the situation...because it's those moments of "That's one big motherfucking brownie" and Bucky O'Hare that make you realize you still have roots with these people, and they still, somewhere amidst the drunken nights, know that and cherish it too.

It's true...

And man, Bucky O'Hare...that game is sooo tough!!! Haha, and I went out with Joe Gallo. I just remembered that as part of that whole thing and now I find it funny.

See, reminiscing is so good...I love it.

The Wood is so not the Wood when you live in Ramland...weeeeird!

Who would ever turn down mario 64? hmm...well, it kind of depends...I have trouble trusting your Nintendo 64 advice ever since I found out that you don't own Mario Kart 64! Unbelievable! =)

Thanks, Sean...I hope you have a great break, too.

I'll miss you, ooooofff course! =)
