Long Summer Days

There is quite a bit to update on, I am slowly neglecting this thing but I am just trying to fight it. First things first because I never updated my little excursion to Westwood for the LA Film Festival. I am not a film buff (or nerd), I just wanted to see David Duchovny for the X-Files. I was happy and content. From being all way in the back of the line waiting to getting the 7th row, I cannot complain. I was in complete, not like a fangirl "omg omg I love you David Duchovny" it was more of the silent type, just totally memersized. Let me say, he looks way better in person, even if I was 30 feet away from him :)

I have an album posted to Facebook that you can all check out (you don't need an account for this): 7 Rows Away from David Duchovny Feel free to peruse and grab and enjoy!

The Panel was pretty good, not much was given away. They showed 2 new scenes from the movie, it felt like watching an X-Files episode again which is good b/c I miss watching that show religiously, it was good TV! It was fun and endearing panel minus the fangirls and the crazy fans, the fans sometimes worry me, no joke. I met some cool people, which was refreshing, and I finally got to meet Amanda (annabethfan)! She's totally fabulous, and was so nice enough to wait with me until I got my ride so thank you Amanda :)

Aside from the X-Files craze beginning right about now again, same ol' stuff going on, work, and summer school. Let me just say how successful I was to avoid summer school in all my years of education, it was a good thing because summer was to relax not to work more, pfft. I realized unfortunately times change and I need to graduate next May so I had to take summer school *high* but it's not bad, it's a philosophy class and my professor is fabulous and it's 6 weeks, to think a class I would have suffered for 12 weeks, that's philosophy, umm I'll take the 6 weeks and suffer more but it's in a short period lol

Supposedly LSAT scores came out today, it's more likely than not it's in my AOL inbox, but I am going to check it because I want to enjoy my holiday til Monday. I'll get worried about it then. Honestly, I found that I have been really non chalant about this LSAT, I was happy when I finished, I felt that I gave it my best and really just left it all when I left the test center. People are freaking out and asking what did you get what did you get?!?! I am like *shrugs* ask me on Monday lol. I think it's an indication of something bigger where I am really not going to let a test dictate my life or really my prospects. Yes, the LSAT is very important but not this obsessive twitch and paranoia that everyone is making it out to be.

Finally, I got rehired at the Loyolan, which ensues a ton of LOLs because I never thought I would be going back there ever again. Then I saw the website and nearly cried, it was dying and making me sad. Since being a student at LMU and the only job/extracurricular that does not have a class restriction, I thought I need some pocket money and then 2 weeks after appying I got rehired. So basically I am the web editor and in charge of the site. I am really excited, already getting into it 3 weeks ago, there's so much to discover and I am excited to unravel it all, and really working with everyone. I only know about 4 or 5 people on staff out the 25 that we got so I am excited to meet them at our retreat next month for 4 days (which is serving as my mini vacation from work).

Here's to hoping I'll update more frequently! Cheers and happy 4th! :) Hopefully, I'll get to leave soon and see my friend Sam, she's back in the homeland (Los Angeles) and it's been since December I last saw her. omg Excitement overload!
