Don't you think nineteen's too young to be played by your dark twisted games when I loved you so?
2 One may think that after what happened between Onew and Minho, one of them will start avoiding each other and that would most likely be Minho. Well, in Minho’s case, he was desperate to pass his Music class so he wouldn’t have to repeat it next school year. First, it’s a waste of money and second, it is a waste of energy. It’s a waste of everything since he wasn’t even planning on becoming a musician in the future. Anyway, he was desperate and for someone as desperate as him, Onew is a shining gold trophy.
He would tutor him in English in exchange for his piano lessons and he was hoping that Onew would also give him a bit of singing lessons. That would be a win-win situation. So, the day after the kiss incident in Onew’s apartment, Minho decided to lock up his feelings and pretend that Onew didn’t do anything to him that made him question his sexuality.
Minho approached Onew in his lunch table. The seniors that were sitting with Onew looked up at him with a smirk. But the problem is, the guy that he needs to talk with didn’t notice his presence. Minho tapped on Onew’s shoulder to get his attention. When the older guy turned to look at him, Minho lowered his head and stared at his shoes.
“Minho-ssi,” said Onew.
“Uh, c-can I h-have a word with you?” stuttered Minho.
“Sure,” said Onew. Minho was about to turn to go to a more private place for them to talk when he realized that Onew wasn’t moving and was staring at him expectantly.
“I-if you d-don’t mind…let’s talk in a more p-private place,” said Minho. Onew scoffed, Minho bit his lower lip.
“Fine,” said Onew. He stood up and started to lead Minho outside of the rowdy cafeteria.
“Oooh, man, what now? You got a nerd pregnant?” said one of Onew’s friends from the table. Onew rolled his eyes while Minho blushed, trying to ignore the rather rude comment.
Once they were outside, Onew faced Minho with crossed arms and a scowl.
“Look, if you’re going to talk about how rude or obscene it was for me to kiss you like that, I’m sorry, ok? I understand if you don’t want to continue-“
“No, let’s pretend that it didn’t happen. I need this, alright? I need your help so I can pass and I know that you also…need my help, somehow. So, let’s forget it, please? Just…don’t do it again,” said Minho.
Onew blinked at Minho in confusion twice.
“You mean, you’re fine with that kiss and you forgive me, huh?” said Onew. Minho nodded slowly.
“Nice. You know what? You’re cooler than I thought you were. I thought you would be so stuck up about it and make a scene like those bithces. So, I’ll see you after school?” said Onew.
“See you,” said Minho. Onew waved at him and walked away.
“Don’t be late!” said Minho at Onew’s retreating figure. Onew saluted and chuckled as he re-entered the cafeteria.
As agreed, Minho waited for Onew in front of the school gate after class. Minho was standing there with his things huddled in his arms as he waited patiently for the delinquent senior to arrive. He checked his watch and stomped on the ground stubbornly.
‘He’s supposed to be here ten minutes ago.’
A group of popular girls stared at him and snorted.
‘Aish, I’m starting to look like an idiot here! If that empty-headed jerk won’t arrive right now, I’m-‘
Minho’s thoughts were interrupted when he heard someone honking at him. He looked over his shoulder to see someone wearing a black helmet riding on a huge motorcycle, moving towards him. He yelped as he moved away. The guy stopped right in front of Minho.
“Well, hop on, alien! The world’s not gonna stop for you,” said the guy on the motorcycle.
“What?” said Minho, dumbly.
“Time’s tickin’, Choi,” said the guy. Then Minho realized that it was Onew. He rolled his eyes and glared at the older guy.
“I’m not riding that,” said Minho.
“Then you would have to walk to my place if you want that piano lesson~” said Onew.
“Fine, do you have a spare helmet?” said Minho, sighing. Onew removed his helmet and placed it over Minho’s head.
“How about you?” said Minho.
“Screw that, I don’t need helmet,” said Onew.
Minho climbed on the motorcycle and even before he could hold on to something, Onew sped up causing him to slightly jerk backwards but caught Onew’s shoulders. He trembled slightly as he hugged both sides of Onew for dear life.
Minho looked over to Onew shyly and found himself unable to look away. The wind was blowing against Onew’s hair and it sure was a gorgeous sight. It was sunset and there was a certain ray that makes Onew look like he was glowing. Minho found himself staring at him with his mouth open. He was so lost in his handsome features that he didn’t know that they were already in the parking lot of Onew’s apartment building. Onew got off of the vehicle causing Minho, who was still in a trance, to fall over at the lost of support. Onew laughed at him and Minho glared back.
“How can you fall asleep with my speed? You’re really weird,” said Onew.
The other ignored what Onew just said because he was too busy making his blush go away. Onew removed Minho’s helmet, revealing the blushing face. Minho grabbed his cheeks in attempt to cover his blushing face but it was too late. Onew was already smirking at him.
“Yah, why are you smirking at me like that?” whined Minho.
“Have you been staring at my gorgeous face, Minnie-seonsaengnim?” said Onew.
“Pft, why would I stare at your ugly face?! And would you stop calling me that? You’re older than me and it’s simply ug-“
“Hush, my princess. I’m going to ignore your comment about my face but I’m pretty sure that you’re going to be in love with this ‘ugly’ face,” said Onew.
Before Minho could shot back a reply, Onew pulled him inside the elevator. Minho pouted and crossed his arms in front of his chest.
‘As if I would fall for that face. I’d rather stare at my dead grandpa’s rotting face,’ Minho thought while the elevator took them to Onew’s floor.
