Anyone out there who isn't easily squicked?
I'm working on something... interesting right now. It's a fic that's going to involve a lot of things I've never tried before, some of which might be troublesome for more gentle readers.
I would like 4 readers to whom I can send the story as a WIP in order to receive feedback. I've already chosen one person so there are 3 slots left.
The story will be a SHINee fic. It will be a supernatural modern!AU and the main pairings will be Jonghyun/Key and Taemin/Minho. If you are interested in helping me work on this WIP, please click on the link below for further information.
Before you sign-up to be a test reader, please know that the story will involve the following things:
- Werewolves
- Cat people with synchronous hermaphroditism (they have both male and female reproductive organs)
- Ultra possessive behavior (not on the Edward Cullen level though)
- Animalistic tendencies (but no straight-up bestiality because-just because)
- Major, major genderfuck (see point 2)
- Knotting (if you don’t know what it is, be careful googling it)
- Heat sex and rough sex
- Mpreg (made a pained noise while I typed that)
- Nuns (no one will be fucking the nuns though)
There will be no gore or graphic non-con though there will be allusions to dub-con things happening in the periphery and attempted non-con.
Please know that I am not looking for beta readers whose primarily function is to nitpick over grammar and spelling (that will come later). I'm looking for readers who can provide me answers to the following questions:
- Is the plot coherent?
- Are the characters convincing?
- Is the world believable? (this is arguably the most important question)
If you can answer those 3 questions, then you are qualified to be test reader. Please keep in mind that I am looking for thoughtful critical responses and not just, "I loved this chapter!" or "I don't like this." I expect to know why things are working or not working for you. The reason I am searching for test readers in the first place is because this story is very, very AU, so the writing must be convincing.
