Quiche or Tart

I made a quiche the other day that I last made around fifteen years ago. It's a potato, goats cheese and spinach quiche by Rachel Allen that I made from a magazine back then, and I'd been trying to find it online since, as I threw out the tv guide. Last week I thought to look for 'tart' and there it was. When I made it last it was a Sunday, I was pleasantly still drunk from the night before and I spent the whole day reading Ian McEwan's novel Saturday, with a good meal and more cans to follow that night. I couldn't spend all day reading a novel now, I think the brain fog increased slowly over the years, and if it isn't brain fog it's a low-level headache. Reading has generally gotten more difficult unless its a page turner, what a pain. I don't blame the authors. This is since I've been off the drink as well, maybe those gut bacteria have to fight for their existence. Hopefully this kefir will help, I had to throw a chunk out, it must have easily doubled in size since I started three weeks ago. It was held in very high regard by the people of the Caucuses.

I'm listening to Joni Mitchell's Coyote, mainly to delay having to get into the cold plunge. The song is like a duet between her and Jack Pastorius' bass. Nobody should have that much talent. Do I mean Joni or Jaco's talent? Maybe both... as if I'd know my way around a fretless bass, although I do sometimes wear a polo neck jumper and smoke a pipe.
