Our culprit has sure made a spectacle of itself tonight.
The...bat...has made its attack again, this time upon Mr. Campbell, and has dared to swoop upon the others, including myself. I understand the need, and I must say I did find it a slight amusing. At least now the others know of its existence.
I’ve not much to speak of this evening. Beyond the sight of the bat, the night was, in all, uneventful.
Mrs. Linton stirs behind me, restless in her sleep. She did not feel comfortable upstairs and so I invited her to the lab where her exhaustion quickly took precedent. I believe I will speak again with the Count, simply to ensure that she will be safe.
There were few conversations, one of which was with the Baron, Vincent Frankenstein, whom Mrs. Linton did not feel safe around. A curious man, this Frankenstein. German if I remember correctly. One who is a scientist as well. He attempts to rid of viruses through electrocution. Very curious, that. I know little of this method; shock therapy was mostly used to right the wrong mind of the insane, but to kill viruses?
I had briefly thought that perhaps I can rid of Hyde in such a way, though the idea of being electrocuted by several thousand volts of electricity does not seem admirable. It would rid of Hyde, yes. But myself as well. Even after all he has placed me through, I do not wish to die.
I simply wish to be normal again...
