I seem to have laryngitis of the keyboard- no one is talking to me at this point, and I just can't seem to get the next chapter of OATNW written. I know what's going to happen, but I just can't manage to get it on the screen. I'm blaming my poor, slow phone, as I actually write almost all of my fic on my Notes app, then pick it up on my laptop for editing.
(Fingers crossed, I should have a new phone by the end of the month. I typically get my tech with the biggest hard drive and fastest processor available, then use and abuse it until it dies, typically four to six years. I'm smack dab in the middle of that span right now, so I'm due.)
In the meantime, I've been tring to shake off my keyboard lethargy by indulging in a bit of reading, something I don't usually get time to do of late. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of diving headfirst into the abso-freakin-lutely amazing writing of two lovely LJ ladies,
sykira and
katherine_b, and I've been shamelessly frolicking with wild abandon through their collected works. I have seriously been binge-reading the archives of both of these Fic Goddesses and I'm so ashamed of myself for not commenting more, but again- slower than molassas in January phone + losing comments I've spent my entire lunch period composing before they get posted = maximum frustration, so there. I will go back and reread at leisure, savoring each piece of perfection and commenting as they oh, so richly deserve when I'm not hampered by prehistoric tech and just stunned insensate by their individual awesomeness.
In the meantime, may I offer you these little gems of DW lovliness I found in my travels?
