The meme and questions: RULES: Comment and I'll LJ stalk you to find THREE FANDOMS you apparently love. And then you answer these questions about them

In my head, SGA ended in The Return part 2. After that I pretty much hate *everything* that happened.
I agree that giving money to Rob Thomas (either of them, honestly) should be a crime.
Hee! I don't care either way re: the Matchbox 20 dude [haven't even heard of him for the past EVER?], though I have to admit he wrote a couple of songs that I actually love to this day.
I did watch the entire S4 [and the Sam scenes on S5, which were like, in the first and the last ep only], because Sam was there and my love for her outweights the hatred I had for the show. But looking back, I wish I had just watched *her scenes* and not the entire episodes. So I pretend everything ended when Elizabeth hugged Jack and in return he asked her to bring Carter the next time. Yes. *g*
Yeah, I have a billion memories attached to M20's first album as well. :) But I don't even remember any song that came after. Which is funny, because I remember having their second CD as well? I just checked -- I certainly don't have it anymore.
Yeah, I know you've told me this before, and it's true: something happens when I'm making Buffy icons and they are just *better* than anything else I can come up with. :)
1. I kept imagining Nathan Fillion and Morena Baccarin as the main characters in W13 and damn that would've been SO MUCH BETTER. The two leads are even more horrible than I first guessed. GAH.
2. I can't deal with Hung because of my embarrassment issues. I felt like TAKING SEVERAL SHOWERS after the episode ended, and I just know I can't watch something like that.
3. I'm so pissed at Neve Campbell for being envolved in this crap! GAH! She deserves a better show.
4. I finally watched Virtuality in its entirety earlier today and I thought it could have been better. The single character that made me feel anything was Clea Duvall's, I didn't really care for anyone else. And so far I doubt this will ever become a series.
Ooh, I'd love to do this meme. However, your three shows are certainly in my top ten! And then I started thinking of all the others I watch, comment on and like...
And then the following week I watched it again and it was After Life and Spike was all "every night I save you" so I figured I better watch the whole thing from the start.
Hee. I should probably be embarrassed that THAT was what make me want to watch Buffy, but I'm not, because I did watch all of it and IT ONLY VALIDATED MY LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT FOR SPIKE, so there. :)
Oh, I'm glad to read your Philanthropist review. It confirms what someone else said so I'll stay well away from the show. James Purefoy and the actor who played Omar on The Wire, though. What a waste of talent.
I hadn't heard of Warehouse 13. I was going to try Hung anyway, but my expectations have been duly raised. (Dude, when was the last time you posted about a really good pilot? TSSC? The Black Donnellys?)
I watched Virtuality and the impression I got was that the writer was trying to hook the viewers with the "What is real/unreal?" concept of the show, instead of trying to hook viewers with wonderful characters. FAIL.
I thought the entire cast of The Philanthropist was really good, but I just can't deal with a show that portraits a really rich while dude turning his midlife crisis into trying to "save" random third world countries from themselves. It's just... WRONG.
Warehouse 13 is a new show on Syfy [hello, stupid new name!], created by Jane Espenson. It's sort of like Eureka, I guess? Same kind of quirkiness and campiness... but with very bad acting. It's a shame, because the idea of the show is right up my alley.
[I really liked the Glee pilot, that's the last one I loved. Interestingly, I didn't really like the T:TSCC pilot on first watch, it took me a full re-watch to actually appreciate it the right way. :)]
I finally watched Virtuality earlier tonight and I completely agree with you. And I had a really hard time buying most of the characters, and couldn't really connect to any of them. Much fail.
