Buffy The Vampire Slayer
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Well, a few of my friends watched it, but back then I was very monogamous re: X-Files. [And I admit it: I used to mock it A LOT. There. I was a Buffy mocker who was converted by Spike being emo. I dare anyone to top that.] Couple of years later, XF stared sucking hairy ass and I needed a new fandom. I also wanted to see how the hell they would bring Buffy back from the dead. So the day S6 premiered in Brazil, I watched it. And then the following week I watched it again and it was After Life and Spike was all "every night I save you" so I figured I better watch the whole thing from the start. Which I proceeded to do in an insanely fast fashion and by the time OMWF aired here I was all caught up [there was a bit of a hiatus before that episode though].
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I've mostly already moved on. I mean, I do still read the eventual Buffy/Spike fic, and I'll read the Buffy meta on my flist, but that's about it.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
In the order they aired: Hush, Restless, Fool for Love, Intervention, Once More With Feeling, Beneath You, Conversations With Dead People.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Mmmm, not so much anymore, but I did make an insane amount of icons, and a few wallpapers and other shit back in the day that I'm insanely proud of. And to this day I still think the best icons I've ever made were Buffy icons, and I don't think that will ever change.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I truly believe that everyone who appreciates television shows has to watch Buffy to be able to properly appreciate the amount of AWESOME it brought forth -- that it was OK to make cult/pop-culture-filled GENRE with a generous dose of erudition and still make it fun and entertaining. And it's a show that had its own version of the English language, I *don't understand* people who wouldn't want to watch that. :)
Stargate SG-1
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Well, I was STUPID and watched Stargate: Atlantis first, because the flist was all a-flutter with it [and I still haven't decided if the first two and a half seasons of awesome are worth the heartache it later brought me] but, you know, I REALLY didn't want to watch SG-1 [ I have proof. The MacGyver dude creeps me out! *dies laughing* Oh, Rick, I'm so sorry, I didn't know what I was saying and I love you very much, you're like, one of my favoritest people in the entire universe! *returns from the grave, laughs some more*]. And then one day marcele and I decided we were gonna buy the first season of SG-1 because it was cheap [uh, that's mostly in Portuguese, but I actually have a longer explanation -- in English -- about it here, OMFG EXCUSE THE INSANE] and then it took me 20 days to watch the first season and then another 20 days to watch THE FOLLOWING SEVEN SEASONS and I fell completely in love with the team and with Jack/Sam and seriously, everyone ever on this show. And then I made all my friends watch it and it was beautiful. :)
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
You know, this is a more than a decade old fandom, and I've only been around for the last two years. I'm pretty sure I still have about 8 years worth of fic to go through, so for the moment, I can't see myself going away from the SG-1 fandom, no sir.

In the order they aired: Solitudes, There But for the Grace of God, In the Line of Duty, Secrets, The Fifth Race, A Matter of Time, Learning Curve, Point of View, Foothold, Shades of Grey, The Other Side, Window of Opportunity, Beneath the Surface, Chain Reaction, 2010, Failsafe, Descent, Allegiance, Paradise Lost, Metamorphosis, Memento, Fragile Balance, Grace, Death Knell, Zero Hour, It's Good to Be King, Threads, Moebius I + II. [And I'm stopping on S8 because I kind of don't care enough for S9-S10 to look the episodes up? Hee.]

YES, PLEASE. I mean, it's freaking Stargate, it's never going to be taken seriously BY ANYONE, but it's such a ridiculously FUN show and for real: no other team in the history of all teams who ever teamed will be as awesome/adorable/kickass/hilarious/pretty as Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c. TRUFAX.
Veronica Mars
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I followed the buzz preceding the show pretty closely, and then I watched the pilot as soon as it became available to me and liked it A LOT A LOT A LOT. [ My first post re: VM.] So I was right in the middle of the fandom right from the start, for a change!
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
WELL. I actually gave up on VM completely after watching the first 3 [4? I don't remember!] episodes of S3. That was late 2006. Then I didn't touch a single VM-related thing until this past January, when finally I rewatched S1 and the second half of S2. [I haven't read any fic or made any icons since late 2006 though.]
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
In the order they aired: Pilot, Return of the Kane, An Echolls Family Christmas, Clash of the Tritons, Weapons of Class Destruction, Rat Saw God, Plan B.

05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I think people should watch the first season and then GET THE HELL AWAY as fast as possible. But do it illegally, if you must, because giving monies to Rob Thomas should be considered A CRIME.

Warehouse 13: thought it was cute, but the two main actors are RILLY RILLY MEDIOCRE. Eh. I'm probably gonna keep watching because it's *my* kinda cute sci-fi, but that's about it.
Hung: thought it was really good, but this is the kind of show that makes me a) embarrassed for everyone involved and b) really depressed, so I'm done with it.
The Philanthropist: HATED IT OMFG SO MUCH. I truly didn't believe a single episode could come up with the amount of cultural appropriation stupidity this has. It's a shame, because I love everyone in the cast, but I can't watch a show that has me SEETHING IN HATRED every couple of seconds.
Virtuality: Number of times I've tried to watch it: 4. Number of times I finished it: 0. I guess that says enough about what I think about it? HEE.
