3. First episode I didn't hateloatheOMGthisshowsucks. Eee! I guess it has to do with the fact that Kate and Sawyer were barely there [as they skyrocket the suckitude level each time they show up and pretend to know how to act]. And the fact that I actually like Sayid, despite the fact that it still boggles my mind that the Republican Guard is now drafting Anglo-Indians.
But finding the French lady was kinda nifty. If only because it's one less big mystery for me to be curious about.
2. I'm still annoyed that every character is a walking cliché tough. I mean. 9 episodes in and I can still call each one of them by their own patent
narrative platitudes.
I just keep expecting at least one of them to have a really really dull past in which the most exciting thing that happened was thai food. Alas, it seems all of them must have the really really dark mysterious angst-filled past of DOOM AND GLOOM.
It gets very predictable.
