little girl you're in the middle of the ride

There are still a couple of weeks of Winter to go, and ALL of frelling Spring, but it's already Summer hot.

::murders the weather::

So. Long-weekend recap, for your reading pleasure. Except that not really.

Friday:
- Worked.
- Packed.
- Burned a bunch of CDs.
- Got the 4:30pm bus to Campos.
- Sat beside the loudest snoring man EVER. Thank heavens for my MP3 player, or I'd be in jail for murder now.
- Got text-messaged by marcele as I was getting into town. "DON'T EAT ANYTHING!" Had a weird giggle fit over it. But I was hungry and planning on asking Dad to take me out to dinner.
- As it were, Marcele, Marco Antonio and I took silu to our favorite restaurant in the Universe, because she had never been there. Lebanese food is the yummiest, yo.

Saturday:
- Slept.
- Slept some more.
- Had breakfast at noon. Spent the rest of the day eating chocolate. Evil Dad buys them, HOW can one resist?
- Watched the Soundtrack Channel all afternoon long, except for the couple of hours when TNT was showing the Dave Matthews Band live at Central Park concert. Then I watched that. Stefan is so pretty. Sigh.
- Went to Marcele's. We ate about a thousand hot-dogs and us girls watched the second half of DC's S3 while Marco slept. OMG PACEY OVERDOSE! Eeeee!
- Got home at 5am.

Sunday:
- Slept.
- Went out to lunch with Dad, Grandma, dad's girlfriend and her kids. Barbecue place. Ate too much.
- Went back home, slept more.
- Marcele and Marco came over, we watched The Laramie Project [after a teeny leetle accident with the tape getting stuck at the VCR, but Marco and I opened the VCR and sorted it out.], NOT because Joshua Jackson is in it [no, really. *g*], but because Silviane had taped it for us and hey, it's a fucking great movie.
- Then Dad got all hyped to order pizza from this place that sells pizza by the meter, but no one was answering the phone. Dad pouted. We mocked him. And then we went with our regular pizza delivery place. And I point that out because really, all I do back home is eat.
- We also watched a bunch of BtVS S5 episodes. Fool For Love, eeeee!

Monday:
- I did nothing! Eeee!
- Wait. Went to Grandma's and did nothing there. Then came back home and did nothing there too.
- More doing nothing along with Marcele and Marco at night. They brought Lebanese food. Lots and lots of it. We ate it all.
- Then Marco wanted to watch Spaceballs, but he fell asleep in the middle. Marcele and I kept watching, because FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER!!!111!!!one-two-three-four-five!!!11111
- Then, more Buffy. I had to suffer through Into The Woods, 'cause Marcele had never seen it, which just shows how AWESOME a friend I am. ::nods wisely:: But then we watched Triangle and all was good once more. ;-)

Tuesday:
- Was awoken at 8am by my former High School's band playing some Brazilian pop song at the school's parking lot. Er. Explanation needed: Dad's apartment? You open the windows, all you see is my high school, which is around the corner from Dad's building. September 7 is our Independence Day, so there are parades all over the country. I didn't go out to see the parade, but I watched my HS's band from the window until they were out of my sight.
- For the Brazilians: dude. They were playing Lulu Santos' Assim Caminha a Humanidade when they woke me up. They played a bunch of other pop songs on their way to the street they were gonna parade in. It was neat.
- Then I went back to bed, obviously. *g*
- Had lunch with Dad at this great little place I didn't know.
- Went back home, worked up some courage and used my dad's computer [AKA slowest computer EVER] for a bit. Got somewhat caught up with my flist, but gave up trying to post when Semagic froze 4 times. Read some fic instead.
- At night, Marco, Marcele and I watched The Village. Nevermind the fact that the movie theater SUCKS DEAD RAT'S ASSES and was showing the movie with the WRONG ASPECT RATIO and we could hear the movie in the other screening room [which was a sorta-musical and we could hear all the songs]. OMG LAME. DUMB. STUPID. PREDICTABLE. What a fucking UGLY cinematography. And did I mention predictable? Yeah. I feel all justified in my Shayamalan prejudice now.
- And afterwards, pizza! Again. Obviously.

Wednesday:
- Dad woke me up at 7am, so I could catch the 8am bus back home.
- Didn't plan to, but met Marcele at the bus station. As if we hadn't seen enough of each other already. ;-)
- Got home at noon.
- I couldn't find my nifty ray-bans, so I spent all day squinting at the sun, because stupid Tissa broke her cheap-[but incredibly cute]-bought-at-a-street-vendor other pair of sunglasses in the most klutziest klutz event of EVER yesterday. Long story short, I stepped on my own sunglasses. ::facepalms::
- Rushed to Rio, 'cause I had to be at the office at 1am.
- Worked. Learned that I'll be working like a crazy person from September 20th to October 9th, at the Rio Movie Festival, because they need someone else to code and layout the Festival's website. At least there'll be no work in the mornings. Yay.
- Got back home at 5:30pm. Had lunch. Frozen lasagna. Go me and my healthy eating habits.

So that's it. In a nutshell. That kinda grew out of proportion.

What about y'all? :)
