hockey, hockey, hockey?
So what with the jamboree and the new computer and the new fandom, I sort of, you know...
...sort of totally missed the end of the hockey season.
*facepalm*
The Caps, not at all surprisingly, did not make the playoffs. Their luck went way, way south late in the season, and I actually--for reasons not actually directly related to the way they were playing at that moment--walked out early on the last game I attended. (Which may have been a good thing: the game was against the Penguins, who seem to be shaping up as serious rivals, and after strangecobwebs and I left, there were fights. In the stands.)
Anyway, also not terribly surprisingly, my hometown Red Wings did make the playoffs--but my options for actually watching them play are pretty limited. So.
Locals? Anybody willing to join me in venturing out to a sports bar in Adams Morgan tomorrow night for a 7pm hockey game? Pleeeeeease? I need to redeem myself as a hockey fan.
